Found a box of things that took me back
to a time when all I wanted was within my grasp
Old faded photos stacks of our CD's
It's crazy how it all comes rushing back to me

20 years later thoughts of how it began
from coffee shops to Ricks to buying our own van
hundreds of shows and everyone was a thrill
The good times and the bad I wouldn't trade for the world
If it wasn't for the band I wouldn't have my girl

Those are days that I cherish and I want them back again

Even as time moves on
The memories stay with us forever
We're never really gone
The songs are what keeps us together

I miss rehearsing making songs out of jams
down in the Schuetzler's basement, they were my second fam
Eric, Denby, Adam, Ryan and Chad
Even Joe and Tex and David, my brothers of band
Thank you for each and every single moment we had
